The RIO-10C is a low-cost, input-protected I/O module with four 12-bit analog to digital inputs, two 12-bit digital to analog outputs, two optically-isolated digital inputs, and two solid-state digital outputs. Each analog input channel is configured to measure 0 to 20mA (various forms of data scaling are included). The analog output channels can drive 4 to 20mA (different scales are included). The digital input channels can accumulate pulse counts for AMR applications.
The RIO-10C products are configured, read, and controlled using Modbus RTU commands by wireless, RS-232 or RS-485 connection (see ordering information). The device's Modbus address can be set with a software configuration tool or with an on-board, 4-position, DIP switch.
The RIO-10C family is sold as a bare-board, without an enclosure.
The RIO-10C device is available in six configurations:
* The RIO-10C-W and RIO-10C-W-28 models plug into any of our standard radios (sold separately).
